AS a person that started in telecom in USAF when Tube was used moved through transistors to large scale integrated circuits. the tech has changed a lot. Open wire to paper pair cables to coaxial cables to fiber cables both land and ocean at 280mbps to 5Gbps when I retired in 2006. to see fiber mux at 800Gbps today. Two-Way Radio to mobile phones to To first Cell phones in 1972 has lead to the Cells today. with muilt freq span's in gen 5G. same was true with computers that were card programed to do one function in the 1970's to the power of the computers in the Cellphones. /Basic electronic and trouble shooting skills make a good tech into a great one. As trouble shooting skills work in all types of fields. not just Telecom.

Quality goals matter more than doing "the work." You can't reach a destination if you don't know what your intended destination is to begin with. How is it possible to set high quality goals? First it's important to be intentional, if a goal is broad then it's not intentional. What outcomes do you intend on creating? A goal that is designed to "serve everyone" will "serve no one." Second, understand who your goals benefit. Whether you are getting a job, getting clients or simply creating a beautiful piece of artwork - it's important to know who benefits. Third, understand your needs. Your mental health is wealth, it is hard to accomplish goals when mental health is not in order. Most importantly, get started once you define a goal!

There is a saying, "it's about who you know not what you know." In business this is often incredibly true, it can be overwhelming to consider perhaps you don't know the right people who can help you land the next big opportunity. Fortunately, social media and the internet make it easier than ever to take this concept to the next level with the consideration that - "it's not who you know but who you can meet." The most effective method I've found for building rapport online is to ask people specific and direct questions about what themselves. Don't ask about the weather. Ask folks you wish to build rapport with: - How do you like your job? - How did you start your career? - What skills helped you the most? Be bold, ask more questions.
