When embarking on an automation journey, it is important to begin with small steps and gradually build momentum. This is because automation involves not just technological changes but also cultural changes within your organization. To achieve success, it is crucial to get buy-in from as many people as possible. So you need to network with people within your organization too. Attempting a sweeping overhaul of processes with a large-scale automation project can be risky and lead to obstacles. The best approach is to start with a small pilot project and execute it with excellence. Use this as a learning experience and then move on to another project, of a similar size, to iterate and improve further.
