Slightly Controversial Take: SMART technique for sure helps in streamlining our workflow but I usually would like the boundaries to dissolve for an extra flavour of personal chutzpah reflect in the overall result. It sort of goes against the whole "Specific" and "Time Bound" components of the technique, but hey... when did we humans really learnt to follow everything to the "T"?(unless we gotta be a version of dumbed down selves.) Wake up!

2 Prioritize your tasks

5 Avoid distractions and interruptions

This is by far the most important thing to achieve for saving time and prioritise on the tasks at hand. Distraction not only comes in the form of phones, unnecessary browsing/ scrolling but also our work environment. Most of the open office spaces are a curse in my opinion which too much noise and distraction all around due ro so much activity happening all around. I wait for the day to have my own personal office cabin so it's easier to focus on work. Again to each it's own, some people can thrive and concentrate within the "open plan" office chaos.

Regular feedback on a timely basis from the team and client on the design blueprint / strategy is useful to identify the fluff and cut down unnecessary weight so the agility of the model / space / idea/ product being designed remains intact and able to change with any new requirements (within the reasonable boundaries)
