To Monitor the project performance one should do the EVM analysis and check the SPI and CPI. If both the indexes are showing abnormalities then a project manager should perform below activities: 1. Activity Crashing 2. Resource allocation 3. Allocating additional resources to the tasks which are on Critical path Also a project Manager should inform status of the project along with lags to all the relevant stakeholders to minimise the occurrence of additional costs and risks if any. With this, a project Manager should also maintain the risk register and perform the strategies to mitigate the risks at each stage of the project.
