How do you make vocational training more appealing to the youth?

I agree! To attract youth to vocational training, it’s crucial to update the curriculum to reflect the latest industry trends and technological advancements. Integrating digital literacy, coding, and the use of modern tools and software in various trades can make the learning process more relevant and exciting. Additionally, incorporating practical, hands-on experiences with contemporary equipment can better prepare students for the current job market. Kids eat this stuff up!

Due to the short attention span of the youth, it is now more important than ever to gamify almost everything in order to catch their attention. So being able to gamify vocational training so that there can be levels within levels. In so doing, there is the mechanism of short gratifications along the courses. I think that will keep them more engaged.

Yo creo que todo suma, pero visibilizar un futuro laboral cercano y con buenas condiciones es primordial. Por eso las conexiones que se puedan hacer con cualquier sector son muy importantes, aunque es lógico que concretamente en la industria lo sea aún más. Las prácticas o pasantías, en las que se puedan aplicar los conocimientos, hacen que los alumnos comprueben que son capaces y las empresas pueden evaluar "in situ" el desempe?o de ese futuro empleado. No sólo se pueden evaluar las aptitudes, sino también las actitudes, que son las que harán que la relación laboral sea duradera y satisfactoria para ambas partes.
