Recuerdo que tenia a un amigo que de chicos coordinabamos sesiones y topicos para hablar de manera virtual o presencial. Recomiendo llevar una libreta con anotaciones despues de cada sesion donde notaras como te has sentido y los nuevos conocimientos que fuiste aprendiendo. If some has communicated to you in a second language and you have been able to understand them regardless of any mistakes they have made then they have managed to be communicative, which despite any errors, is the goal of learning a new language. Ofcourse, give the corrections, we all want to improve, but framing them as perfections can be for more motivating and essentially if your partner is already getting their point across even with some errors then what you are doing is by correcting is perfecting.
