The analysis and monitoring of transactions are from financial crime consideration, an increasingly important fact and measure. Whether through process optimization or system improvement, it is essential to combat money laundering and the growing global phenomenon of human trafficking. Many see the use of artificial intelligence as a way to identify patterns. The question is, who will provide these skills and experience? I still see a need for discussion regarding the ethical and moral principles and use of such data and expertise.

Cashflow is more crucial than profitability for sustainability of business. In changing business scenario, we shall be more prudent and smart enough to identify/plan the investing/financing activities which shall align with cashflow from operation without affecting business goal. More importantly we shall monitor TAKT time instead of cycle time for all cash inflow/outflow activities. Compare your cash flow to your own historical data. Privately held businesses will be different for every organization. You need to know where you came from (cash wise) and where your cash is going. Look to other companies and benchmarks for inspiration and guidance, but develop your own strategies that fit your business.

Investing cashflow - the cash you are using to invest in your business and finally, financing cashflow - the money you are borrowing to run your business. It’s critical that you monitor the trends of each area inline with the overall strategic plan and budget for your business.
