Their responsibilities towards optimizing existing safety standards and production cycles will play an important role in shaping the future industrial temperament. I am constantly reminded of a few swiss villagers who covered a melting glacier with large plastic polythene sheets during the summer to fight abnormal melting. The industrial leaders and investors need to understand that direct reduction in operating costs can come through environment orientated optimization measures.

External environmental factor is normally assessed during HAZID. During HAZOP, external environmental effect limited to effect to the operating parameter.
