Not only should you actively seek feedback, but ensure that the feedback is landing on fertile ground within your mind and heart. Listen to learn, not to respond. Don't take an immediate position on the feedback, but rather capture the feedback, analyze it and, after careful consideration, keep the good and release the bad.

I keep a list on my phone of skills I want to learn and develop. Every day, I try to arrive at the office 15 - 20 minutes before my first meeting. I go in, shut the door, open my list and begin to seek education and insight on the skills on my list from whatever credible source I can find: LinkedIn Learning, Ted talks, Social Media experts, books, podcasts, or reaching out to mentors for help. 15 minutes a day isn't going to change my skillset immediately, but over the course of year that's 89 hours or more than 2 full work weeks worth of learning and development. And that's poweful!
