After so many years in golf as a golf professional with both country club and very busy public course experience I‘m convinced that in order to maximize income, efficiency, and player enjoyment one should ensure the most popular tee times are compulsory four ball only .. individual players being grouped at key times ..early or later times can be left open as to requirements as always,this model has always been beneficial as to speed of play and general golfer satisfaction ..going on the feed back I have had over the years..,

Now, SUPPLY. Don't get tripped up here, we don't want to look at a supply of one - that's too binary. Let's think about supply in terms of each hour or two-hour block on your tee sheet. Each hour has 5 to 8 tee times which usually represents 20 to 32 player spots on the tee sheet. As the player spots dwindle in an hour, the supply is shrinking. As you can imagine, when supply shrinks, the price should go up - OR SHOULD IT? If the hour is behind your forecast pace, raising the price could be the wrong action. This is why having an integrated, detailed forecast in your tee time plan is so important.
