How do you foster a culture of learning and innovation using an instructional design model?

As a former management consultant I learned what an incredible unlock frameworks were. They are a bit line a "bento box" for our ideas, questions, concerns, and content. ADDIE is a common one that I think is easy to understand and remember. Starting with structure really helps to highlight what you have figured out and where the gaps are. It also reduces some of the obvious misses in a v1 of an L&D program. And ADDIE plus the others listed can also be used for a variety of non-L&D use cases and are a great way for HR to play a role in strategy, innovation and other change agent initiatives to support the broader organization.

En mi opinión, el modelo ADDIE es uno de los más completos por tener una visión muy centrada en el usuario. Explora sus necesidades antes de definir o escribir el contenido, un enfoque de UX para el Dise?o del Aprendizaje. Un buen inicio. De todas formas, creo que también es esencial complementar este y otros modelos con otras metodologías transversales que ayuden a conseguir que la experiencia de aprendizaje sea efectiva, incorporando pedagogía estratégica, por ejemplo, heurísticas para gestionar la calidad del producto, el copywriting y la narrativa, además de las Ciencias del Comportamiento para procurar una buena experiencia motivación al del alumno.

Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and update learning materials based on feedback and changing business needs. Stay informed about industry trends and integrate new approaches to instructional design.

I agree that ADDIE is a proven successful model. I have also experienced where the implementation of SMART performance goals coupled with it gives the system not only a measurable outline of the performance expectations and the areas needing more instruction, but provides an in-house means of addressing those insufficiencies. That said, regardless of what training module is used, if executive management doesn’t model or at least show its support in some tangible way, it’s probably only going to be a temporary fix a best to a wider systemic problem.

Es importante porque te ayuda a dise?ar siguiendo un modelo, sabiendo cómo romperlo para que los estudiantes consigan sus objetivos de aprendizaje y para poder medir los resultados. En mi opinión, te abre la posibilidad de incorporar muchos más elementos que harán que esa experiencia de aprendizaje sea efectiva.

Lo esencial es que te centres en el problema que debes resolver con esta experiencia de aprendizaje, analizar con el stakeholder sus necesidades, experiencias pasadas, impresiones sobre las mismas, etc. Entender el contexto de los alumnos y el sector. Comprender a las learner persona para las que vas a dise?ar. Y ya, desde ahí, comenzar con el desarrollo pedagógico. Dependiendo del modelo de dise?o Instruccional, el desarrollo será diferente, pero en mi opinión, estos primeros pasos son esenciales para procurar el existo en los resultados de aprendizaje de los alumnos.

The aspect of environmental factor may have taken a back seat in many cases of application. Which should not be. It is that an instructional design model can be used to foster a culture of learning and innovation by providing a framework for creating and delivering effective learning experiences. Create a learning environment that is conducive to learning, which should be safe, supportive, and engaging. Learners should feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes. This comes with opportunities for feedback and reflection at the same time. Learners need feedback on their progress in order to improve. Learners also have to reflect on their learning and make connections between what they are learning and their own experiences.

To improve your instructional design skills, engage in continuous learning by staying updated with trends and research. Consider pursuing formal education or certifications to gain a strong foundation. Apply your knowledge through practical experience on real projects. Collaborate with peers and seek their feedback to gain diverse perspectives. Reflect on your projects, evaluate their effectiveness, and iterate for improvement. Develop multimedia skills to create engaging content. Familiarize yourself with evaluation methods and research to make data-informed decisions. Seek mentorship to receive guidance and foster growth. Embrace new ideas and challenges to continuously enhance your proficiency as an instructional designer.

Sometimes there’s no need to reinvent the wheel. After you’ve identified skills gaps and a target audience, find out if there is already a training process that can be adopted or enhanced. It takes a lot of work to create an effective training process. There are outside training providers out there that already have done all the instructional design legwork and have proven solutions for you to adopt , enhance, or customize. This would really help expedite the process, build upon others’ shoulders, and help you focus on any few missing items that are specific to your company or audience. It would also cost you a lot less money, if you consider the cost of all those hours it would take you and your organization to build it yourselves.

Lo más importante es que nos centremos en las personas y contexto al que nos dirigimos, eso es lo que marcará la ruta a seguir con nuestro modelo de dise?o Instruccional. Cada persona usará el que le resulte más interesante y cómodo. Creo que un modelo de dise?o Instruccional está para darle forma, romperlo y adaptarlo a la realidad que tenemos que abordar.
