Offer fair incentives: Recognize everyone’s contributions and create reward mechanisms that benefit everyone. Ensure inclusive governance: Establish collaborative governance that includes representatives from different groups, ensuring equity.

In my opinion, one of the ideal ways to approach this is to understand the players, their goals and their interests. Once done, it is best to have it documented and understand the common trends if any. The common trends would provide threads for conversations. The players, goals and the intent can be confirmed with a face-to-face meeting or through other mechanisms. Skipping this would provide knowledge or information gaps which would have challenges later. Understanding this will enable progress in many ways which include setting up agenda for the first meeting or workshops, validating the finding, developing relationships and others. Let's focus on the big picture and get this right as we keep developing a better world.

Be intentional. Let stakeholders know that innovation is a goal. U less otherwise stated, most people assume rote, ordinary performance is desired.

Possible framework for success could involve following actions- Purpose Clarification: When you know stakeholders and their ownership, you can align goals more effectively. Resource Optimization: Understand strengths and avoid duplication of efforts through effective planning and utilization. Faster Problem-Solving: Clarity of roles ensures less confusion regarding who to turn to when challenges arise. Trust Building: Transparency in roles fosters stronger relationships as awareness of diverse actors can lead to unexpected collaborations.

It is so interesting that this topic crossed my path because we were just discussing something similar at a workshop yesterday. There are seven items listed and they also came up in our workshop, namely: 1 Identify actors and their roles 2 Establish shared vision / goals 3 Create governance and coordination mechanism 4 Culture of trust and collaboration 5 Incentives and recognition 6 Evaluate and adapt They are all important but the greatest of these is establishing a common vision. If every member of the Team has a different idea of the END GOAL, then none of the others will matter a jot. Having the best actors, good governance, trust, incentives and adaptation won't mean anything if everyone is headed in a different direction!

In my opinion, defining a shared vision or creating a shared vision is the best aspect that lays foundations for success. Every player would bring in their intent, their experience and their 'why' as they create the shared goal. Understanding the players and their desires enables finding a pathway to create a shared goal and a mission. While creating a vision it is important to invest and create a vision that is bigger than all the players involved. Once done, it is best to work on the buy in which will ensure commitment and contribution towards the shared goal. It would be best to keep the aspects moving and create momentum to ensure all players are in a position to contribute. Few basics make the shared vision and follow on success

In my opinion, there is no alternate to this. Creating a trusted environment is the basis to create a environment of trust and collaboration. Trust is a hard one to be earned and it needs to be earned slowly and steadily. Understanding the players and their intent provides a key to the big picture of trust. Once the agenda and the background of the players, the intent is understood work on a plan to build the trust and continue building it to ensure a positive result. Once trust is built, it serves as a common ground for innovation, performance, building resilience and a lot more. Let's work on the basics- trust, as we continue to build a better world.

In my experience, there are many ways we need to observe, evaluate, adapt and pivot. As humans and as professionals we would notice that the change through internal, external or various other factors is common and this has a large impact on all of us. Working through this means we should develop the ability to pivot and move to avoid being stagnant. Having a basic framework to adopt is the key aspect that will help focus efforts and achieve this from a logical standpoint. We can use the frameworks available or create a tailored one to create the framework that would work for us.
