Local processing vs cloud based service processing. We ran into an issue that an approved contractor was going capture laser scans of an area to support design work. The issue was that they were using a 3rd party company to process the 3d scans that was not approved by our security policies. The contractor would capture the field Data and upload it to a cloud base rendering service.
