Cellular networks, such as 2G, 3G, 4G, or 5G use cellular base stations to locate devices or objects based on signal strength, angle, or time of arrival. Wi-Fi networks also use Wi-Fi access points to locate devices or objects based on signal strength, angle, or time of arrival. There is need to really identify the problem and specially the accuracy needed when selecting WPS technologies. You can have the best in class sub centimeter solution and it will be overkill when you just need to detect presence in rooms. Or you can end in a solution where the cost and size of the infrastructure to get desired accuracy will be the overkill.
