Make sure to choose the right mocap hardware for the right application. Do your research into the different mocap technologies with their upsides and downsides. There is a big difference in data quality and technical possibilities. Choosing the wrong setup can lead to a high level of unwanted clean-up or lots of technical challenges. For instance, when talking about clean-up, the HD Reprocessing feature from the Xsens motion capture will save you a lot of fixing time for contact points and sliding & sinking feet. Time you can better spend on creativity!
