I would stay clear of pie charts. They are largely useless and don't provide an awful lot of insight. Same with Tree Maps. They're vanity visuals. When implementing your colour scheme, make sure the colours don't overlap into unrelated areas. For example, applying the same colour to "No. of Serious Incidents" and "No. of Hot Dinners Sold" is just going to create confusion.

I've seen it so many times before where someone extremely data-competent builds an incredible dashboard, but only they can understand it because they've built it to their ability rather than the ability/needs of the audience. There's absolutely nothing wrong with designing a very basic dashboard if it provides insights and drives performance. You can do that through one visual and a bit of text in some cases! Not everything has to be a masterclass in SQL/R/Python/DAX etc.
