I am David Bartlett and I have handled the seliverables for many independent features, several of which have won multiple awards and been sold on Amazon. I also worked at the studios for years helping deliver films like Pulp Fiction, Speed and Total Recall. This is a good article. The most important thing is to plan your final deliverables BEFORE YOU SHOOT. The CODEC and frame rates you use on the set could make the difference between a sale of your project and a complete rejection, for unnecessary technical reasons. Planning backwards from the actual sale is vital. This is especially true if you do not know who you are selling to yet. I hope this was helpful!
