Always create requirements matrix and interlink it with design input and verify with design output if all requirements are fulfilled . Always make sure each requirements are tracable for this one can create requirements ID. EXAMLE: R01 : 24 V lion battery of 20 mm round shape of length 10 mm. The importance of understanding requirements and writing requirements are two different things . Always write requirements clear and it suppose to be measurabl.

While defining test make sure you always take worst case scenario. Wherever possible use statical method to decide what sample size you will consider and what tool you will use ro measure.

You should also have a work instruction to write the protocol . Also provide training to people doing such testing . Keep training and update if any changes in test cases to those people who are involved in testing. Always have skill matrix of these people. Provide refresher training whenever required.
