All students should have a buddy, so they can work together on topics that the other may struggle with. Those that often are quick to learn are great and reaffirming what they have learnt to their buddy partner. Both win. You want your class equally split with those that are going to understand a very literal explanation and then those that will take a more detailed story. Both yield the same result, but all members of the class understand the statements one way or another. It is so important that no one feels left out! If you leave a group of students out they will become the disinterested and the disrupters, far better to invest in saying the same thing different ways until the whole class is nodding with affirmation.
