Do not forget to check the models for stability. For example, as a result of the calculation, the project may seem very attractive, but the project as a whole is not stable: with a slight change in the cost per kilowatt-hour, or the amount of time required for repairs, the project may become unprofitable. Therefore, when making calculations, do not be lazy to check the stability of the project: change each input parameter by 10% and see if the project continues to be attractive as before.

So Basically I would like to add how I achieved to improve one part in the renewable energy system via softwares: In my final year project I came up with a theory and modified dc-dc step up transformer , did the equation in theory and with the help of psim software I did a simulation where I had the idea of how the modifications I did with the circuit and the turns in the dc-dc transformer would give me better results. Thus I improved the efficiency of the system. Stepping up the voltage for almost 85% more from current input from the renewable source like solar panels.
