How do you define and assign data mapping roles and responsibilities?

Here's what i found works for me when i'm mapping roles. I create a matrix and that includes the roles as rows and the job/task description, assigned to stakeholder, responsibilities, skills required, deliverable(s), dependencies, timeline. This matrix comes in handy for leadership to quickly understand roles and responsibilities as well ensure better resource allocation, skill utilization etc. Detepending on the size of the business, can help reduce redundancy and streamline processes.
