If you are a small business owner, tools like LCA might be out of budget. Learning how circular economy works can give you most of the information you need. Understanding the technical and biological cycles and how your products and materials will interact within the cycles can give you key information on your products' performance. Be sure to check several sources when you are researching a material. A lot of green claims are not true. Research the "negative environmental effects" as well as the positive. You can also hire a professional to accompany you along the selection and design process or to receive training and learn how to do it yourself. Both will be cheaper than tools designed for corporations.
