Would you invest in them or their product? Do you want your name and business associated and connected to them? Is the collaboration worth the return on investment you are making? Is the relationship reciprocal or one-sided? As small business owners, you strive for visibility, growing your audience of raving fans and converting those fans into loyal customers. If you don’t answer the questions above you could be getting into a collaboration that is not a good investment of your time or resources, or worse someone that could ruin your business or reputation.
