How do you collaborate and communicate with other stakeholders using Green Building design software?

Some suitable software for green building design includes below: 1.Autodesk Revit: Supports sustainable design and BIM integration. 2.AutoCAD: Drafting and designing and Graphical representation to create plan and drawings 3.EnergyPlus: Analyzes energy performance and efficiency. 4.Green Building Studio: Offers cloud-based simulation and optimization. 4.Design Builder: Facilitates energy modeling and environmental analysis. 5.Add ins like Dynamo,Python to perform smart works and many more. There are some other relevant software's for coordination also i.e. Navisworks, Solibri checker etc to identify clashes,quantity Take off,4D simulation etc. Now a days VR,AR is latest addition in AEC including Artificial Intelligence!

Organisations functions depending on the below particular roles with responsibilities as per EIR: 1.Identify a project manager responsible for overall coordination. 2.Appoint an architect or designer to lead sustainable design efforts. 3.Assign an energy consultant to conduct energy modeling and analysis. 4.Designate a materials specialist to assess eco-friendly building materials. 5.Appoint a construction manager to oversee sustainable practices during construction. 6.Ensure ongoing monitoring and reporting of green building initiatives, assigning a sustainability coordinator as needed.

Autodesk BIM 360 Design Suite has below cloud based and collaborative features to things simple: 1.Enabling real-time collaboration among project stakeholders from different locations. 2.Providing centralized project data storage accessible 24/7, reducing data silos. 3.Offering version control to track model changes and maintain data integrity. 4.Facilitating document management, sharing, and review within a unified platform. 5.Supporting issues tracking and resolution for efficient project management. 6.Integrating with various design and construction software tools to enhance interoperability. Based on clients need time to time can publish the models for review.

I couldn’t agree anymore with the suggestion of putting everything (files, docs, etc) info the cloud and granting access to the project’s stakeholders. I prefer google drive as it gives me the ability to change/edit file access as well as share large files. One note I’d make though is that, since you are incorporating cloud storage, use it and add all the files! Don’t just add the CAD or REVIT files, add the PDFs as well so your stakeholders have convenient access. It’s a frustrating time-suck to jump into a folder and then realize that you may or may not have the correct software. If you’re going to use the cloud - which you should absolutely do - make it worth everyone’s while!

To ensure the above BIM Manager need to strictly follow BIM Execution Plan(BEP).

These practices enhanced the accuracy and consistency of our work & facilitated collaboration throughout the project.

Buildings are complicated and their energy use is heavily dependant on their occupants and use. Energy modeling should be backed up with real world experience on system performance and occupant behaviour as these can have a large impact on actual energy use. Look at overall systems, not just individual parts of a building. Adjust airflows, leakage rates, R values and look at the relative impacts. What's important? What's not important? Test your model against real world energy use and once it's built in the real world, follow up on performance so you can learn from it.
