I always say to my clients to begin with the end in mind…what do you want your audience to think/ feel/ say/ do as a result of your presentation. Once you’re clear on that, work backwards from there…what will you need to say and do to make that happen? When preparing your message, what’s the big headline that will get people listening. Think about your audience and what they care about, that’s how you hook them in. Begin strong, and end strong…what’s your call to action?
