An example I've seen in the tertiary level is what we call Internship. Wherein you need to apply outside your box whatever you have learned inside your school. In my institution where I am a secondary teacher, we have this Performance Task which is the biggest percentage and one of the components in computing their quarterly grades. This PT will identify how they understood the topic or if they hit the MELC which means Most Essential Learning Competency.
