The most effective approach I employ for organizing and structuring my content involves utilizing a content calendar within Google Spreadsheets. Within this calendar, I strategically allocate specific days for various tasks such as scriptwriting, filming, editing, and establishing a posting schedule across all my social media platforms. For optimal content planning and organization, it's highly recommended to batch your content creation for either a week or an entire month. This practice is a preventative measure against the pitfalls of last-minute content creation, which often leads to feelings of overwhelm and creative blockages.

An easy way to develop a content plan is to ask and answer questions about something your reader wants to know. From there, you can create a content formula such as: - what it is - how it works - how to get it - best alternatives - who it's right for - why it's important (e.g., stats and benefits)

For your own personal content, it may be helpful to create your own style guide. This ensures that your content is consistent across platforms and subjects. For client content, review the style guide prior to writing the assigned piece and note anything unique to that client. Having style nuances in front of you as you are writing will save you time editing later.

One idea that sometimes helps me balance quality and quantity when it comes to content production is old content repurposing. I have a library of older articles which did well, say, from 2-3 years ago. Some of those articles contain 'evergreen' ideas or thougths, which can be updated with fresh data/examples/news etc., and re-published again. Oftentimes, the whole articles may be positioned differently, a new angle may be applied, more relevant to modern day. But substantial parts of older articles can be used with minor modifications or tweaks, slightly re-written. That being said, it is probably not efficient to just copy parts of older posts. First, it may harm SEO, second, your long-term readers want fresh and original content.
