Firstly for me the strategy must have a meaningful outcome for the employees. When they ask why are we doing this, there needs to be a clear reason and one that adds value. If not, is it the right strategy and you should have the humility to go back to the drawing board. People need time to try new things, work collaboratively and implement strategies. Ensure they have time and that they use this time to work on the strategy. Be mindful of who else is asking them to do things. Joined up thinking a senior level is needed to prevent project overload.
