Combining B*C is where it gets interesting. Here you reach out on level terms, indicating the value you're prepared to offer them. If you're hesitant about personal channels, consider creating a digital business card using platforms like hihello or provide a vCard link. It's important to know that you are valuable and offer value in your own way! There will be someone somewhere in the world that will relate and resonate with what you offer. Focus on your strengths as a unique offering to spark interest. As you guide others drawn to your value, a network naturally forms, each connection unique. To nurture this growth, set up a LinkedIn group or newsletter to share insights. As your community engages, networking unfolds organically through comments. Cultivate this network by actively interacting with everyone, acknowledging their interest and support positively.

Here are some tricks worth trying: 1. If you use a CRM to organize your relationships, you can create a simple dynamic list showing only the contacts who you haven't talked to in the last X weeks or months. 2. On LinkedIn, you can download an archive of all your connections (Me > Settings & Privacy > Data Privacy > Get copy of your data). I suggest you do this with some regularity, maybe every 2 months. When downloading an archive to spreadsheet, copy the prior archive to a separate tab, then use VLOOKUP to identify who has a new company/title since the last download. (You look up the name, from new tab to old, and if it doesn't match, add that contact to a new list.) Now you have a reason to reach out, congratulating them on a new job.

One of the key things to remember about your network is, you don't know who they know. This can be really empowering. 1. Present yourself with authenticity; your true self is your very best self. 2. Tell your story as much as possible. Even after 100 times, there will be ways to optimize the language to convey the best message. 3. Test it with different audiences. It makes no logical sense, but time and again you'll find that a giving mindset will GET you a lot. When you practice these principles, your connections begin to open up THEIR connections.
