We also, love a good gossip about an event on a moment in someone’s life even if we don’t know that person, but is always good to share, we do that sometimes with no harm no bad feelings but because we learned from it
In elementary school teaching, providing multiple ways of looking at a lesson is very important to get your message across to a diverse population. Some of my favorite metaphors that I use are: “You’re putting the cart in front of the horse.” To remind students to not get ahead of themselves. “You’re a bull in a china shop.” reminding students about body control. “Don’t try wolf.” reminding student’s to tell the truth so others believe what they say.

Metaphors don't need to be written in the heightened language instead use the language and images that readers or audience can immediately understand and relate to. It gives a startlingly vivid picture or brings a surprising insight , something different yet truly parallel.

Firstly find out what industry or work background the person is involved in. Then use an example from that so the person can relate to it and he / she will understand it better. Eg: If the person is a mechanic or he’s into cars. You can tell him that he knows how important it is to have a routine maintenance and service of his car in order to keep it in top running condition and he’ll obviously agree to it, so similarly a routine medical check up is required to keep your body & health in good condition.

As reflex?es geradas na constru??o da árvore, é comum que problema tido como central passe a ser visto como uma causa-raiz ou ent?o como uma consequência de outro problema central até ent?o n?o mapeado ou relacionado.
“Comigo n?o morreu” foi ensinado em uma reuni?o, para que lembrássemos de cumprir as tarefas durante a semana. Eu achei genial, porque quando uma crian?a diz “comigo n?o morreu” ela quer ser rápida para n?o ficar com a parte chata da brincadeira. Da mesma forma com esse pensamento, além de n?o esquecer a tarefa, queremos ser rápidos em cumpri-las.

When talking about human beings, there are as much ideas and/or interpretations for any given problem, than human beings on the planet. Conceptions may difer even by mood at the time it comes out to the table, so same person may have a response for a stimulation that could be different from time to time when conditions change. When in problem solving sessions, i try to explain same context but different real-life situations to my team, so they can identify more accurately what the problem is, and then motivate them to express ideas as brainstorming that can be useful solutions even if context or conditions change.
Metaphors are imperative when you’re talking about invisible disabilities. Spoon theory, fork theory, tendril theory, box v internet mind theory, are all important in helping other people understand something completely internal. Two of my favorites: being autistic is like being a cupcake. Every cupcake is different. One might have sprinkles, one marbled, another has filling. So asking “how autistic are you?” is like asking “how cupcake are you?” It’s a light way to explain it to people that there’s no one way to look or be autistic. Another is that ADHD can feel like trying to peel a potato with another potato. Everyone else has peelers. When you ask for help, instead of getting a peeler, they give you another potato.
