In the many group Workshops that I Facilitated, I would make my presentations about THEM. I learned from Langevin while becoming certified that you must get to know your participants, realize that Adults learn differently,- each one being unique, and involve them. Add substance and humour to keep them attentive, then take small breaks in the mornings and afternoons.

One thing I have found helpful is that I allow participants or learners to think independently about a question or problem for some minutes and then have them share those thoughts in pairs, then in groups of four, and finally with the whole group. This approach ensures that everyone gets a chance to be heard. Occasionally, I also spot-check to ensure that no one is left behind.

However, the right structure for large group facilitation depends on your goals and the available time and space. When selecting a Liberating Structure for a large group, consider the complexity and diversity of the topic, the type and degree of participation and interaction you want to generate, and the available resources and constraints. For example, if you want to explore a simple or well-defined question with limited time or a large venue, you can use 1-2-4-All or Impromptu Networking. If you want to stimulate innovation or action with more time or a smaller space, you can use TRIZ or 15% Solutions.

The benefits are the usual benefit of structuring relationship among people multiplied for the number of participants. When you really want to have everybody solutions liberating structures are the answer. In particular for large groups.
