Working in NICU, it was scary for them. I learned many key words to put my parents at ease and then took a Spanish course for CEUS. Hispanic treasure the traditions of their culture and learning them is great to be able to understand them. Many will also be willing to help you learn many words to help you communicate with them. You should be respectful of their culture and be helpful to them. Being based in the hospital and home health, I got to know my patients and their families.

So don’t expect from me to be the little nervous and shy girl right before switching the language in order to become confident and cold just seconds later.
