En toda empresa u organización, debe existir un equipo de trabajo que le dedique tiempo a recorrer las instalaciones para verificar que efectivamente, esta libre de peligros y con ello evitar los riesgos de trabajo. Pareceria broma, pero en las mismas oficinas existen equipos viejos que pueden ocasionar lesiones a los empleados. Por ejemplo, una silla con un tornillo mal colocado puede ocasionar algun desgarre de piel en las personas que lo usen, en ocasiones o casi siempre no le damos la importancia a estos peque?os detalles, por tal motivo, los equipo de seguridad e higiende en el trabajo cobran demasiada relevancia en las empresas.

Para evitar los peligros en el trabajo, es necesario que el personal tenga una capacitación sobre herramientas que le ayuden a identificar esos peligros, por ejemplo: Talleres, Entrevistas, Análisis de escenarios, Encuestas y Análisis de causa raíz entro otras, cada herramienta que se pueda utilizar sin duda alguna logrará que en la organización se viva un ambiente libre de riesgos.

Si bien, existen muchas técnicas de identificación de peligros, en las empresas pueden partir de lo basico, asistir al lugar de trabajo e iniciar con las preguntas a los empleados responsables del lugar, de por qué eso esta ahí?, por qué esta así?, por qué no puede estar mejor?, es decir, hacerse la misma pregunta ?por qué? hasta que se encuentre la solución. Ya para problemas que representen un gran peligro, pueden buscar alguna otra técnica como el diagrama de pescado, para hallar la solución. Estas técnicas si o si deberan aplicarse con apoyo del personal responsable del área en revisión, ya que ellos son los expertos en cada uno de sus procesos.
