How can you use feedback from peers and mentors to write better grant proposals?

It is important to note that grant and proposal writing isn't just your regular writing. Its complexities and dynamics demand more attention and carefulness. Moreso, fixing every loophole and correcting every error before submission should be considered a topmost priority. To achieve this as a writer, you have to seek feedback from people who have a reputable background and experience in grant and proposal writing. Show them what you've written and fix every gap. Consider your many writings as drafts before the final one. Once you have edited and proofread it as many times as possible, then you can send it out.

There are various sources that you can seek help from. You can start by checking out other grants and proposals that have been written by experts in the field that you plan to write about. You can also seek the aid of artificial intelligence. But you have to be sure that the command was well inputted. There's also the option of running through another AI platform if it was manually written. Lastly, placing a call to your colleagues and seniors who are skilled in that can of writing is also another great advantage.

There’s no other way to ask for feedback than to be open to feedback. Be receptive to criticism and corrections from your tested and trusted contemporaries. Be sure that you also know what you want to be written. Additionally, make your questions as clear as possible. Remember, it is only a draft until the final pages are written. Ensure you put all the changes where they are necessary to help you remember the parts that need to be worked on. Don't be too quick to finalise, hence the more feedback, the better your chance of writing a better grant and proposal.
