It is crucial to recognize a gap in knowledge, understanding, or practice and formulate a clear research question or problem statement that can be investigated. A classic example, in this case, let's assume to be in the healthcare sector: Problem - To understand if a specific medication effectively reduces symptoms of a particular disease. Approach to Inference: Randomly assigning a group of patients with the disease into two groups—one receiving the medication and the other receiving a placebo. Monitoring and comparing the symptom improvement between the two groups over a specific period, using standardized assessment scales can help in validating the PoV or the hypothesis.

Then, we can go for controlled/ structured experiments, and based on the results, iterate and refine the hypotheses or design. Embracing conflicting opinions! Yes, that's right. Many times people tend to avoid talking about something just because it may be conflicting or its completely new - like experimental design.
