One powerful feature to pull data from pdf is Optical Character Recognition (OCR). At times data from pdf files is difficult to import and most resort to manually entering it. Using the OCR function one can easily generate a word or excel file making it easier to pull data for analysis.

Although regular statistical features are important to know, it is preferable to develop expertise in non linear regression models. This is a powerful tool to analyse data that doesn't follow regular regression models such as linear or expoenetial. Quite a lot of data can be better estimated with non linear models as opposed to linear.
