One thing that I've always found useful when it comes to developing critical thinking is to encourage 'childlike curiosity'. In other words, look at every work situation/ scenario with natural curiosity to understand the details of it and look at things from a number of different perspectives. This is what a child does: why is it this way? Why is not in a different way? But let's pretend for a second that we didn't have to follow the norm, what else could we do that would achieve the same result? Cultivating a natural curious mind will boost your ability to offer different perspectives to common problems which in turn, will add value. Critical thinking is all about thinking outside the box and offer a different point of view.

Careers are very personal, so it's counterintuitive to think less of yourself and what you want. Ironically, I've found it easier to achieve my goals when I focus on aligning my core values with how I help others get what they want. This shift in focus allows me to approach situations with greater objectivity and clarity, ultimately leading to better outcomes for myself and those around me.
