Pour faire bref, car je suis limité en caractère : Les couleurs primaires sont les couleurs fondamentales qui ne peuvent pas être créées par le mélange d'autres couleurs. Dans le modèle traditionnel, les couleurs primaires sont le rouge, le bleu et le jaune. En mélangeant deux couleurs primaires, on obtient une couleur secondaire. Par exemple, le mélange de rouge et de bleu donne du violet. Les couleurs tertiaires sont créées en mélangeant une couleur primaire avec une couleur secondaire adjacente.
