You need good customer data in order to have a good AI model. Garbage in == garbage out. My suggestion would be to use at least a Customer Data Platform in order to centralize and clean your customer data. This can be an excellent data source for your data models. Once you are ready to create a model on AI data you need to integrate the suggestion/information point to the customer service employee. Furthermore, you need to train customer service employees on how to integrate suggestions into their natural language. No-one wants to feel that an AI is pushing their interaction when they are talking to a human being.

In order to measure model performance, you need to gather feedback on it. Either for sentiment analysis of the support call or to get it written down by the support agent. This is an extra step so it should be part of their KPI otherwise you won't get this information. Now there are multiple errors possible: the suggestion itself was bad, or the content of the suggestion was off or the delivery is off. Ensure that you can measure which it is so you can direct your improvement activities to fix the problem.
