This is basically about framing the questions based on the learning outcomes of the students. It gives the educators to adjust the assessment to keep the students motivated and confident. It also helps them continue their learning without any fear of assessment.

According to my personal experience Fairness is the biggest challenge one can face by incorporating adaptive learning in summative assessment. This process gives each student an opportunity to receive feedback, at the same time, we cannot deny the differences in the levels of difficulty of questions and the outcome. The feedback cannot be done on equal grounds and easily categorises the students. But, the whole purpose of this is to keep up the students motivated and help them continue their learning process.
