1 Check for updates

One of the first things you should do is check for updates for your PowerPoint and Windows operating system. Updates can improve the performance and stability of your software, as well as fix any bugs or glitches that may cause it to malfunction. To check for updates, go to the File tab in PowerPoint and select Account. Then, click on Update Options and choose Update Now. Alternatively, you can go to the Settings app in Windows and select Update & Security. Then, click on Check for updates and install any available ones.

2 Repair your PowerPoint

4 Start PowerPoint in safe mode
