Configure the connection between the testing tool and JIRA. Defect logging- when a defect is identified, testers can log Including relevant details and steps to reproduce. 2- Link defects to corresponding test cases or user stories fo analysis 3- Create automated rules for defect creation based on conditions. 4- Set priorities based on impact and urgency for efficient resolution. 5- Assign defects to IT for resolution, either manually or automatically 6- Monitor defect status (Open, In Progress, Resolved, Closed) 7- automated notifications for stakeholders on status changes. Testers to verify and close defects after successful resolution. Reporting: Utilize JIRA's reporting for defect-related metrics for resolution time.
