So let’s get to what people actually look at in a portfolio case study. Impact and how you got there. Remember it’s not only about how great you think, it’s also about how impactful your solution was. Here’s the structure that worked for me: 1. Choose an intriguing title that makes people want to know what happened (e.g. Regaining market positioning through strategic rebranding) 2. A summary for busy people. In 3 paragraphs, start with the problem, what you did (the solution), and the impact. 3. Impact in numbers, show the most impactful outcomes in numbers. 4. Start breaking down what you did; this is an expansion of the summary section. This is also where you show visuals based on the point you’re covering.
