Meiner Erfahrung nach ist es essentiell, neben der sicherlich heutzutage unerl?sslichen pro-aktiven Angriffsüberwachung, sicherzustellen, dass die wichtigsten Schwachstellen regelm??ig geschlossen werden. Dabei muss meiner Meinung nach ein Umdenken stattfinden. Anstatt Tausende von Schwachstellen mit teuren Tools zu "verwalten", braucht es aktuelle und relevante Informationen zu neuen Gefahren. Auf diese sollte dann in angemessener Zeit reagiert werden. Relevant hei?t in diesem Zusammenhang beispielsweise Schwachstellen zu exponierten Systemen mit hohem Risiko wie Firewalls, Citrix-Umgebungen etc. Dabei muss man auch Mut zur Lücke beweisen, nicht jeder Schwachstelle kann nachgegangen werden. Ein ordentliches Risikomonitoring empfiehlt sich.
