The risk of it turning to gossip is high. Speak with each employee involved separately. Relate with each employees concerns. Use your common sense. Understand if it is an issue that can be resolved. If it is reoccurring, find out the common denominator. Determine what needs to happen to prevent escalation. So that no further problems occur and no more time is wasted. Relay that to the employees. Some areas have no room for compromise.
