I used to recognize my team, cross functional colleagues and anyone who had a meaningful contribution to our mission, strategic and financial efforts through monthly newsletter that was distributed both regionally and globally. I do believe it is important to make sure with them that they are okay with such public recognition. Some may prefer to keep such either only to their manager or even to themselves knowing that they are acknowledged.
