In my experience, the art of giving feedback is crucial in the workplace. Firstly, we can either be constructive or destructive in our feedback, and second, if used in the right way, will benefit you in any job that you take on. For constructive feedback - I always use the burger/sandwich method, where I sandwich growth opportunities for a team member / junior in the middle, and offer motivating points in between. The more we try and use it in our daily life, the easier it gets; and hence my second point, if this is used in the right way, will benefit you in any roles in the company, moreover as you move up the ladder.

Cuando recibimos una retroalimentación, sea de un cliente externo como interno, es importante reflexionar y evaluar la toma de decisiones. Hay casos donde será irremediable las repercusiones y tendremos que afrontar con hidalguía los resultados. No obstante, todo error debe evaluase para mejorar y cubrir estas falencias dentro de nuestra, producto o servicio.

Dentro de la comunicación empresarial a nivel DIGITAL, es importante tomarse un tiempo para responder a los comentario de manera que salga a relucir un punto fuerte de nuestra marca, producto o servicio. Para esto es esencial contar un con Community Manager que conozca la personalidad de la marca y su forma de pensar, de manera que pueda encargarse de responder a estos comentarios, sobre todo los positivos, y se pueda fortalecer lazos con la comunidad. En algunos casos, se pueden escalar los comentarios negativos o de insatisfacción y tratar de darle una solución que no afecte la imagen de la marca.

In connection with my response above, it is also crucial to receive feedback with an open mind. Sometimes, as a creative or intelligent people in the work place (and I'm not using the word professionals here for a reason), we are bombarded by egos. Ego can hurt teamwork, especially when we think that our solution / idea is better than the other (EGO alert). So it's important to listen to ourself, as much in helping us listen to other's feedback. This - in itself is a more important skill to hone as you move up the ladder.

Additionally, use the sandwich method to deliver your feedback: start with a positive comment, then give a constructive suggestion, and end with another positive comment.
Un gran error que cometen algunas marcas (o sus representantes) es el responder a los comentarios de manera defensiva o delegando el problema al cliente. Incluso si esto último fuese así, debemos mantener un tono comunicacional donde el cliente sienta comprensión y preocupación de nuestro lado. De lo contrario perderemos un cliente y un futuro socio, ya que, desde mi punto de vista: un cliente satisfecho es un socio en relaciones públicas.
