Agree with this, if you want to be a web developer then you should have a basic knowledge of how the web works. Also learn the HTML, CSS and JS. For HTML you should be having a structuring knowledge that how you will be creating a page (it's a simple thing but important in a way that your complete application skeletons is the HTML). Create the components that can be resuable in all the App. Understand the browsers basic.

Don’t try to learn all technologies you see, It isn’t productive. You will just be someone who basically knows many technologies but disappear when come to use them in a big project.

I believe that for people who are just starting out, courses that cover general concepts about web development (e.g., full-stack courses or a bachelor's in computer science) are better than specific courses. With a foundation in general concepts, you'll be in a better position to understand which career path you'd like to pursue.

For Frontend Development and Frameworks : There are a lot of frameworks to choose which might be really confusing when starting out but let's not forget that these frameworks are just tools to help us build the apps that we design. Imagine that you are building a house and it can be build with different materials like Concrete,Wood etc. it all does the job and it all has its own pros and cons. My advice would be to try them all if you are curious about them all and most importantly see if they are relevant in today's development,market and hirings

Specialization is important. In the beginning I choose to focus on the frontend because I started off as a graphic designer and had an interest in design and layouts. As my desire to create more powerful applications increased I focused more on backend development. This includes learning DSA, Performance, Design Patterns...etc.

If you're further along, design an app from scratch that reflects your own interests and passions, or that solves a real-world problem. I would also suggest collaborating on a project with other developers- you’ll be able to build bigger projects faster. And it makes for great material for your resume and future interviews. Once you have one or two projects finished, I would strongly recommend looking for real world opportunities to add to your portfolio. Ask local businesses and organizations if they want help with their website. Maybe you know an artist or photographer, or other creative that needs their own portfolio site. Having practical, real world experience that you show to recruiters will set you apart

To keep things small, each project should demonstrate a particular skill or concept you’ve learned. Over time, as your skills improve, you can add more complex projects to your portfolio. Remember, the quality of projects matters more than quantity. Make sure each project is well-documented and easy to understand for someone viewing your portfolio. Also writing articles about topics you’ve learned is often a quick shortcut to demonstrate a skill without an entire project.

My advice would be to create a portfolio of small projects (hosted somewhere online such as GitHub) that you WANTED to make. Forgo the typical step-by-step projects you can find online; build a small game or app that excites you. That excitement -- how you solved the problem, how you realized your vision, what tools you used -- will come through as you explain it to others.

You should and always try to write only the facts your resume. In your resume, describe all your talents and skills and don't miss any of them

Don't be afraid or hesitate to reach out to people who you think might be able to help. And follow up! What's the worst that could happen? They'll ignore you and move on. It's not personal. At times, this is a numbers game, so the more you reach out, the better your chances. But do it in the most professional way and don't be too pushy or just plain annoying. Communicate what value you would be able to bring to the table to improve the probability of people wanting to give you a chance or at least talk to you.

Whether you are a programmer or not, there is a motto: communication is everything for progress, so be careful and try to expand your circle of communication.

This one is the most important among the others. My advice is to prioritize and invest in networking, whether by attending events (on/offline), helping others, collaborating on open source, etc., and don't forget to support your existing network along the way

One thing I think is very helpful is to try to stand out from others. Remember that in your initial job, you are competing with other people who have similar experience to yours. If I were a recruiter, why would I choose you instead of someone, for example, who participated in three hackathons and created a small library that aided him in his software projects, and wanted to share it with others? Remember, being proactive is the key to gaining visibility and being successful, not only in software but in any activity.

Lot of job descriptions would never mention this but if you are getting hired for an e-commerce application you need to be familiar with optimally integrating with pixel tracking and other user behavior monitoring tools such as Google or adobe analytics. No need for in-depth understanding just the basics of it.

Build Real-World Projects: While learning, focus on practical applications. Build projects that solve real-world problems to demonstrate your ability to translate knowledge into tangible solutions.

Set aside time during your studies to improve your soft skills. In software development, we often collaborate with people who have various viewpoints and areas of expertise that differ from ours. This can be challenging for those who are not prepared. My suggestion is to prioritize clear communication, time management, conflict resolution, and collaborative work.

Ofcourse you have to know the basics of any field to land a job but thats not it! I say get your hands dirty, make mistakes, build a lot of projects, contribute to open-source and build your strong portfolio!! Also, give equal importance to networking with the right individuals!

Be flexible! There's no language or technology you couldn't learn quickly if you are "well-based" programmer. So you can apply for positions with stack you haven't seen yet.
