Amongst all, lone working could have been one of the overlooked hazards. Golf courts are basically very vast fields with numerous up and down hills which cause the maintenance workers being out of sight. In case any thing happens to them either due to an injury or their health condition, it might go unnoticed by their colleagues and supervisors. One control measure could be to ensure they carry cell phones, radio set or pagers, or stablish regular callbacks to the office on specific intervals.

Lone worker is only a hazard if you dont place measures to ensure the person can speak to others in the area or able to raise the alarm to others, eg Mobile phones, personel EPerb, simple UHF Radio system.

2 Implement control measures
