Having a full verification plan at the start of a project is a pipe dream. It assumes everything is tied down, defined and finished. However in the real world it will be a living document that will and should evolve during the project. One might say if it does not, what have you missed, is it going to be another rocked disaster that explodes just after take-off?

The combination of documentation methods from this article one chooses to use relies on many factors. However, I have found that two are critical. The complexity of the results and data, and who the audience is. Sometimes the results and data require more than just a table and other times a few sentences will do. The audience may be a development group working to scale a test method, or in industries such as medical device it is also regulatory bodies that approve the distribution and use of the product. Considering these subtleties can take make the difference between rapid approvals and multiple revisions.

Safety and quality complying design basis and applicable codes and standards meeting constructability operability and maintainability for reliability and risk free performance. Documentation supporting the conformity with records and process of adhering shall be in place as master for records.softwares, tools,database ,resources shall not become a barrier for non compliance.
